Heaven
In plain words
Life with God. Christians hope for the resurrection and a world made new.
The fuller definition
Where God is, and the life with God that Christians are promised. Lutherans speak cautiously about details. The New Testament hope is not only souls going to heaven but the resurrection of the body and a renewed creation, where God makes all things new.
