Apocrypha
Also called Deuterocanon, Deuterocanonical Books.
Books including Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, and the Maccabees, present in the Greek Old Testament but not the Hebrew. Luther translated them and bound them between the Testaments, calling them “not held equal to Holy Scripture, and yet useful and good to read.”
