Liturgy

From the Greek for “the work of the people.” The ordered pattern of public worship: gathering, word, meal, sending. Lutherans kept the shape of the Western mass at the Reformation, reforming its content rather than discarding its form.

In Worship — The liturgy, the daily office, and the furniture of a service.
