Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification

The 1999 agreement between the Lutheran World Federation and the Roman Catholic Church stating a shared understanding of justification by grace through faith, and declaring that the mutual condemnations of the sixteenth century no longer apply to the teaching it describes.
