First time at a Lutheran church?
A Sunday service follows the same shape almost everywhere: gathering, readings from the Bible, a sermon, prayers, communion, and a blessing to go. What to expect, part by part.
ELCA congregations welcome all baptized Christians to communion. What Lutherans believe about it.
To be ready for Sunday: this Sunday’s readings, with the Gospel in plain words.
On the Sundays you can’t get there
Illness, work shifts, caring for someone, distance. Digital Lutheran Church is here for those days, anywhere in Minnesota: daily prayer, this Sunday’s readings, and how to ask a congregation to bring communion to your home.
